You've seen a couple of past blogs where I made pizza. The dough's in those tasted good, but they were problematic in getting them made properly. This one worked well and was really easy to make.
INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 pkg yeast
1 c warm water
1/2 tsp salt
2 T sorghum syrup (or other honey/syrup)
1/4 c olive oil
DIRECTIONS
Add dry ingredients to bread mixer and add wet ingredients on top. Mix 5-10 minutes. You can add a little water or flour if needed to get a good consistency. Let it rise about 30 minutes and then mix again about 5 minutes.
Remove from mixer and place on counter top where you've added some flour to prevent sticking. Use your hands (floured of course) to start mashing down the dough. Use a rolling pin to press it the rest of the way to about 1/4 inch thickness. Carefully place on cooking parchment before adding ingredients.
